"From Mud to Stars" is an experimental performance inspired by the significant Balkan art movement Zenitism, Ljubomir Micic, and the avant-garde Zenit Magazine, published from 1921-1926 in Zagreb, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia. Influenced by both the form and content of Zenitism, performative actions and commentary weave together into a postmodern, contemporary encounter with this modern art movement, that is at times personal, confrontational, and participatory.

Performed as part of ZENITISTIČKO VEČE // ZENIT SOIREE.
